Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Kaufmanniana Mixed, often admired for its multi-color colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to pots & containers.

Tulipa 'Kaufmanniana Mixed' brings a beautifully composed blend of early, waterlily-style tulips—each bulb selected to deliver crisp spring colour with an elegant, natural air. Compact and refined, this mix is especially well-suited to pots by the door, the front of borders, and informal drifts where you’d like a cheerful flourish without any fuss.

Expect a pleasing variety of tones across the planting, with each flower held neatly above fresh green foliage. Plant in autumn and enjoy a polished display from early spring, returning reliably year after year in the right conditions.

Where to Plant:

Tulipa 'Kaufmanniana Mixed' (Tulip) needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10–15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
