Northern Ireland: we do not sell or deliver there

Harding & Bloom does not accept or fulfil orders for delivery to Northern Ireland. Any order submitted with a Northern Ireland delivery address may be cancelled and refunded.

Where We Deliver

A delivery destination must be offered by our checkout before we can accept an order for it. Within the United Kingdom, we deliver to eligible addresses in England, Scotland and Wales. We also deliver to eligible addresses in the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey where a delivery option is shown at checkout. Eligible BFPO addresses may be accepted where checkout offers a delivery service.

Selected international destinations may also be available at checkout. Availability can depend on the product, carrier coverage and plant-health or import restrictions. If we cannot legally or practically send an item to the selected destination, we may contact you, cancel the affected item or order, and issue the appropriate refund. Unless checkout states otherwise, the recipient is responsible for any local import duties, taxes, permits or clearance charges.

Delivery Charges and Free Delivery

  • Eligible Great Britain orders with a qualifying product subtotal of £40 or more receive free standard delivery.
  • The threshold is calculated after discounts and before delivery charges.
  • Charges for orders below the threshold and for other available destinations are displayed at checkout before payment.
  • If we divide an order into separate parcels, we will not request an additional delivery payment after purchase solely because we split the shipment.

Seasonal and Pre-Order Delivery Windows

Pre-Ordered Autumn Planting Bulbs

Dispatch begins during the week beginning Monday 14 September. Autumn planting varieties are seasonal and become available at the start of September. We will then prepare orders and begin dispatch.

Pre-Ordered Perennials (Bare Roots)

Dispatch begins from mid-November. Bare-root perennials are seasonal and are not available until November. We prepare them when they arrive and dispatch them separately from September autumn planting varieties where required.

Mixed Seasonal Orders

Orders containing both autumn planting varieties and bare-root perennials will be split by delivery window. Autumn planting dispatch begins during the week beginning Monday 14 September, while bare-root perennials begin dispatch from mid-November. You will receive a dispatch notification for each parcel where available.

Pre-Orders and Requested Later Delivery

Payment is taken when an order is placed so that stock can be reserved. Seasonal and pre-order products are dispatched when they are available, have passed our quality checks and are ready for the appropriate planting period.

If you need delivery after a particular date, contact us before dispatch. Where we agree a later-delivery request, we will record a not-before dispatch date on the order. This means the order will not be released before that date; it does not guarantee arrival on a particular day unless we have expressly confirmed that in writing.

Dispatch, Tracking and Delivery Estimates

We will send a dispatch confirmation when an order or parcel leaves us. Tracking details are supplied where the chosen service supports tracking. It can take a short time for a carrier to register the first tracking scan.

Delivery windows are estimates unless we have expressly agreed a specific date or period with you. Weather, seasonal stock arrivals, plant-quality checks, carrier disruption and bank holidays can affect timing. If a material delay affects your order, we will contact you using the details supplied at checkout. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

Delivery Addresses and Changes

Please check the recipient name, house number, street, postcode and contact details carefully before paying and again in the order confirmation. Contact us immediately if anything is wrong. We will try to amend an address before dispatch, but an amendment cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered fulfilment or has been handed to the carrier.

If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, or because it was refused or not collected, we may ask for payment of reasonable redelivery or return costs where the law allows. We will not charge these costs where the failure was caused by our error or the goods were faulty or not as ordered.

Missing, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

If tracking shows a parcel as delivered but you cannot locate it, check any nominated safe place and with members of the household or immediate neighbours, then contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

Please inspect plants, bulbs and packaging promptly after delivery. Report missing, damaged, faulty or incorrect items as soon as reasonably possible, ideally within 48 hours, and include your order number and clear photographs where relevant. The 48-hour request helps us investigate perishable goods and carrier damage; it does not reduce your statutory rights.
