Bloom or Bust Guarantee

Mystic Van Eijk, often admired for its pink with soft rose tones colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to borders.

Tulip ‘Mystic Van Eijk’ is a reliable Darwin hybrid, prized for its poised, goblet-shaped blooms in polished pink with soft rose tones. It’s an effortless way to bring a composed, mid-spring rhythm to borders and containers, and its strong stems make it equally suited to cutting for the house.

Plant in autumn, allow the bulbs to settle through winter, and enjoy a confident display from April into May. A classic choice for a refined spring garden palette.

Where to Plant:

Tulip 'Mystic Van Eijk' needs full-sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10-12 cm apart apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
