Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Elegance Bianco Striato, often admired for its white with striped markings colouring, is a corm variety especially well suited to borders.

Ranunculus asiaticus ‘Elegance Bianco Striato’ brings a clean, tailored note to the spring garden: crisp white blooms neatly striped for a softly decorative, almost porcelain finish. Part of the refined Elegance Series, it sits beautifully in pots by the door, edges a border with quiet charm, and is a particularly smart choice for cutting.

Expect a compact, clump-forming habit with mid-green foliage and bowl-shaped flowers held at a pleasing height—ideal for mixing through cottage-style planting, or for a more formal palette of whites and creams.

Where to Plant:

Ranunculus 'Elegance Bianco Striato' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant corm from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10-15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting corm according to local conditions.
