Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Lobularis, often admired for its yellow, white colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to naturalising; grass; pots & containers; woodland edge.

Narcissus 'Lobularis' is a quietly enchanting, natural-form narcissus—starry white petals set off by a fresh, open yellow cup. It has a pleasingly unforced look, as though it has always belonged, and it settles beautifully into lawns, orchard grass, and at the soft margin of woodland.

Notably accommodating, it will flower well in full sun and is also content in light shade, making it a refined choice beneath deciduous trees or along a less formal border. Plant in generous drifts for a graceful spring effect that improves as it establishes.

Where to Plant:

Narcissus 'Lobularis' (wild Lent Lily) needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
