Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Double Fashion, often admired for its yellow petals with orange centre colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to borders.

Narcissus 'Double Fashion' is a beautifully composed double daffodil, opening in soft primrose-yellow with a richly ruffled orange centre. It brings a considered note of spring cheer to borders, underplanting and smart containers, with each stem carrying a generously filled bloom of pleasing substance.

  • Flowering: March–April
  • Height: 40cm
  • Spread: 10cm
  • Flower form: Double
  • Bulb size supplied: 12/14

Plant in drifts through the front of a border, tuck into grass edges, or layer into pots with early tulips and muscari for a quietly luxurious spring display. Allow the grey-green foliage to die back naturally after flowering to support strong performance in years to come.

Where to Plant:

Narcissus 'Double Fashion' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10-15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
