Bloom or Bust Guarantee

Coneflowers are valued for their long flowering season, nectar-rich blooms and sturdy stems, making them excellent choices for both wildlife gardens and summer arrangements.

Echinacea 'Green Twister' is a distinctive coneflower with lime-green petals flushed lilac-pink toward the centre, giving each bloom a fresh, two-tone look that draws the eye through summer.

It forms a sturdy clump with upright stems and prominent central cones, making it excellent for wildlife-friendly borders, prairie-style planting and cut flowers.

Plant in full sun or light shade in well-drained soil, avoiding sites that remain wet in winter. Once established, it is notably tolerant of heat and short dry spells.

Deadhead to prolong flowering or leave some seedheads standing for autumn structure and birds, then cut back old stems once growth finishes.

Where to Plant:

Choose a sunny position, or light partial shade where stated, with well-drained but reasonably fertile soil. These hardy perennials suit mixed borders, wildlife planting and naturalistic schemes.

How to Plant:

Plant bare roots into prepared soil in spring with the crown set at soil level and roots spread out naturally. Water in well and mulch around the clump to help retain moisture while plants establish.

Aftercare:

Water during the first growing season and during long dry spells thereafter. Remove spent flowers if you want a tidier display, or leave some seedheads for structure and wildlife where appropriate.
