Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Levante Rosso Double, often admired for its red, white, black colouring, is a corm variety especially well suited to pots & containers.

Anemone coronaria 'Levante Rosso Double' brings a poised note of theatre to mid–late spring, with richly coloured, double blooms held neatly above fresh mid-green foliage. The effect is wonderfully tailored—ideal for smart containers by the door, and equally at home threading through the front of a sunny border.

With tidy stems and a refined flower form, it is also an excellent choice for the cutting garden, where a few stems lend instant polish to a simple jug arrangement. Plant in autumn for flowers from April to June.

Where to Plant:

Anemone 'Levante Rosso Double' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant corm from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10-15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting corm according to local conditions.
