Bloom or Bust Guarantee

Cameleon, often admired for its soft pink to white colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to pots & containers.

Allium 'Cameleon' is a charmingly compact ornamental onion, prized for its light, globe-shaped flower heads that subtly shift from soft pink to white as they mature. Airy and refined, it slips beautifully into pots, gravel gardens and the front of borders—adding a gentle, modern note without ever feeling fussy.

Plant in autumn and look forward to a neat display in late spring, with flowers held above fresh green foliage. A particularly elegant choice for pollinator-friendly planting where a softer palette is desired.

Where to Plant:

Allium 'Cameleon' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 8-10 cm apart apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
