Bloom or Bust Guarantee

A distinctive true-pink Muscari with blush flower spikes that fade to almost white at the tips, ideal for soft spring planting schemes.

Muscari 'Pink Sunrise' is a distinctive pink grape hyacinth with dense spring spires of small, urn-shaped blooms. Each spike opens soft blush pink and becomes paler towards the tip, creating a delicate two-tone effect that pairs beautifully with white muscari, hellebores, primulas and pastel tulips.

Compact and clump-forming at around 15-20cm tall, this fully hardy bulb is particularly effective in pots, rockeries, border edges and beneath deciduous shrubs or roses. Plant in a generous group for the strongest display, in full sun or partial shade and soil that drains freely.

Where to Plant:

Choose full sun or partial shade and moderately fertile soil that stays moist during active spring growth but drains freely. Pink Sunrise is especially effective in containers, rock gardens, at the front of borders and beneath deciduous shrubs or roses.

How to Plant:

Plant from September to December with the pointed end facing upwards, approximately 10cm deep and 5-8cm apart. For a fuller pink display, arrange the bulbs in generous groups rather than scattering them singly, then firm the soil and water after planting.

Aftercare:

Water during prolonged dry spells while the plants are actively growing, but avoid waterlogged soil. Allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs can replenish their reserves. Lift and divide congested clumps while dormant in summer. Ornamental bulbs are not edible; wear gloves when handling and keep them away from children and pets.
