Planting plan

Layers for light shade.

Plant in light or dappled shade in soil enriched with leaf mould or compost. Let Solomon's Seal form the taller backdrop, with the astilbe in the dampest spot and the dicentra at the front. Keep the astilbe watered in dry spells. Flowering times vary with weather and location.

Before you plant
