Anemone coronaria 'Mistral Tigre' is an Italian-bred florist anemone with striking red-and-white bi-colour blooms held above finely divided foliage from late spring into summer.
The flowers are larger and more refined than standard coronaria types, making this a standout choice for pots, borders and cutting beds where the contrast of colour can be appreciated up close.
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade, and avoid winter-wet conditions. Soaking the corms before planting helps encourage quick, even growth.
Water during active growth and deadhead regularly to prolong the display. In colder spots or heavy soils, lift and store corms once the foliage has died back.
