Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Tete A Tete, often admired for its yellow flowers with deeper yellow trumpet colouring, is a bulb variety especially well suited to pots & containers.

Narcissus cyclamineus 'Tete-a-Tete' is the little daffodil with impeccable manners: neat, bright and reliably cheerful in early spring. Its clear yellow blooms sit smartly above dark green foliage, making it a natural choice for pots by the front door, tidy path edges, or threaded through the very front of a border for a polished spring finish.

Planted in autumn, this dwarf, clump-forming perennial settles in quickly and returns year after year. It also lends itself beautifully to naturalising in grass, where small drifts look wonderfully effortless.

Where to Plant:

Narcissus 'Tete A Tete' (daffodil 'Tête-à-tête) needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant bulb from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 8-10cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting bulb according to local conditions.
