Bloom or Bust Guarantee

Golden-yellow flowers with distinctive bronze-striped outer petals bring intricate early-spring colour to pots, borders and naturalised plantings.

Crocus chrysanthus 'Gipsy Girl' is a bright early-spring species crocus with golden-yellow goblet flowers and distinctive bronze-brown striping across the outer petals. The markings are especially striking while the flowers are closed, before the warm yellow centres open in sunshine.

Compact, fully hardy and easy to naturalise, it is an excellent choice for gravel gardens, lawns, the front of borders and containers. Plant in generous groups for the strongest late-winter and early-spring display.

Plant from September to December, around 5-6 cm deep and 5-8 cm apart. Group the corms generously for the strongest effect, then water once to settle the soil.

Aftercare:

Allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally after flowering. Avoid mowing naturalised plantings until the leaves have finished feeding the corms.
