Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

Mistral Edge, often admired for its white petals with pink edging and a dark centre colouring, is a corm variety especially well suited to borders.

Anemone coronaria 'Mistral Plus Edge' brings a quietly luxurious finish to spring planting schemes. Each crisp, saucer-shaped bloom is held neatly above finely cut foliage, creating a poised display in pots and at the front of the border. Exceptionally pretty in a vase, this refined selection earns its place in the cutting garden with elegant, long-stemmed flowers and a clean, contemporary look.

  • Colour: White petals with pink edging and a dark centre
  • Perfect for: borders, containers and cut flowers
  • Habit: clump-forming perennial with mid-green foliage
  • Position: best in a sheltered spot

Where to Plant:

Anemone 'Mistral Edge' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant corm from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10-15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting corm according to local conditions.
