Our "Bloom or Bust" Promise

St. Brigid Mixed, often admired for its multi-color colouring, is a corm variety especially well suited to pots & containers.

Anemone coronaria 'St. Brigid Mixed' brings a painterly blend of double blooms in richly assorted tones, delivered on neat, clump-forming plants with fresh mid-green foliage. Planted in generous drifts, the effect is charmingly abundant; in pots, it reads as a polished seasonal feature for terraces and doorsteps.

This mixed selection is also exceptionally useful for cutting—perfect for adding a bright, spring-to-summer note indoors. With a simple, well-drained planting spot and steady moisture, it settles quickly and rewards you in its first season.

Where to Plant:

Anemone 'St. Brigid Mixed' needs full-sun, partial sun and a warm, sheltered position for the best flowering. Plant into fertile, humus-rich soil that drains well, and choose a spot protected from strong winds, especially for taller varieties.

How to Plant:

Plant corm from September to December once conditions are suitable. Set them at the correct depth for the variety, spacing 10–15cm apart where relevant, then firm in gently and water well after planting.

Aftercare:

Water regularly in dry weather and feed every two to three weeks once buds appear. Stake taller stems early and deadhead to keep plants flowering. After flowering, allow foliage to die back naturally before lifting or protecting corm according to local conditions.
